You are told to save resources without waste; These resources are mainly those that support your living like water, food, energy, apparel, and even money or belongings.
This is out of the notion that there's going to be a day in which your access to them is going to be limited or possibly unattainable. And the best course of action from then on would be to ration your limited suplies; I as a matter of fact do not wish anyone to face sheer scarcity, but if your situation cannot be helped then proceed with this advice you had already been told.

To think that if you just blink enough times eventually harsh days will be gone and so will enjoyable days. So blink wisely and understand these moments regardless of quality or quantity are worth something, it may be a tiresome week or a fun-plagued day; It's still time spent.
