A tool should always be used until it no longer can function, this is a principle i follow because no tool is bad until you can no longer make anything of it, or if it fails to protect your livelihood.

One more time you can do it one more time! And you will do it one more time.

Injury and disease can bring down the career of anyone, the most talented and prodigious included. It should be prevented at all costs with precaution and preparation, and in whatever way possible.

Can't do it completely? Do half of it, can't do half of it? Do a quarter of it, can't do a quarter of it? Do an eighth of it... We can divide any task and any existing thing into distinct physical, and/or mental parts if we can't fully assume them. Doing this will provide you an easier time dealing with it whilst having reduced consequences, use this lowered difficulty to learn from it: Variables, constants, weaknesses, form, position, variation, intensity, history, or any relevant information that may be of use to you.
