Some rivals will attempt to devitalize, hex or curse (or confuse) you by doing everything in their power to weaken your own powers. It can be done mentally, physically, or possibly in some spiritual manner (I am uncertain about it, of course). It has many names based on what kind of plane it takes place. But regardless of origin; weakness can be inflicted if you are not resilient or immunized against it. Which is why you must prepare beforehand if that situation arises.
