If we had the chance to go back and modify our mistakes... First, we wouldn't be where we are today. And second, you can actually modify a small portion of your mistakes, by redoing or altering stuff you've done before. In example, I can edit my comments to change what I didn't like about them. Know that you can change the past by changing the present; You're not forced by history, only the present is the current force.

To think that somewhere else on the other side of the world someone is living a similar situation to us, facing challenges comparable to ours, holding a hope akin to ours, experiencing equivalent amounts of delight and comfort, and even having equitable thoughts.
This thinking causes one to come to the realization that we aren't truly alone, and that we will face the same challenges as others. And even if our situation is tougher... There is someone else that has possibly faced the same, or even worse.
